| dc.description.abstract | Резюме. Основна цел на статията е да представи проучване на системата на здравеопазване в България от гледна точка на лечението, рехабилитацията и обучението в самообгрижване на диабетно болни лица. Анализират се стратегиите, законите, наредбите и програмите, които оказват влияние върху формирането на нови политики в управлението на хронични заболявания. Анализът обхваща българските информационни източници за периода от 2002 г. до наши дни. Той включва проучване на 23 български професионални списания, основните нормативни документи в областта на българските здравни услуги, националните планове за действие, статистика, относно здравните грижи и отделни книги и брошури, свързани с лечението на пациенти с хронични заболявания и по-специално диабет тип 2. Проучването разкрива недостатъчен изследователски интерес към въпросите за самообгрижването и самоуправлението на хронично болни пациенти, както и слаба заинтересуваност към управление и координация на взаимодействията между лекуващия лекар, лекаря специалист, семейството, приятелския кръг, неправителствените организации и пациент, т.е. всички отговорни участници в обгрижването на диабетно болни пациенти. ***** Summary. The issue of empowering chronic illness patients (CIP) has been in the agenda of the world medical and health systems, including the European Union, for more than a decade. Although at the start the main reason has been predominantly cost-affectivity, later the sociological interpretation and the psychological wellbeing of patients have predominated in the research and has caused the implementation of the programs for self-care management on national levels. The basic purpose of the report is to review the health care system of Bulgaria with an emphasis on the treatment, rehabilitation and education in self-care of patients with diabetes type 2. The report focuses on the essence of the different policies, targeted at improving the quality of services for patients with chronic illnesses. The analysis embraces Bulgarian information sources over the period since 2002 to the present day. It includes a survey of 23 Bulgarian professional journals, fundamental legislative documents in the sphere of Bulgarian health services, national action plans, statistics as regards health care and separate books and brochures, related to the treatment of patients with chronic illnesses and specifi cally diabetes type 2. The results show, that the investigational interest towards the issues of self-care and self-management of chronically ill patients in Bulgaria is insuffi cient. Also, the interest in the governance and coordination of the interactions between the patient’s general practitioner, the specialist, family, friends’ circle, NGOs, i.e. all stakeholders in the care for patients with diabetes, is weak | en_US |
