| dc.description.abstract | Резюме. Депресията е състояние, което изисква продължително лечение и има сериозен икономически ефект. Според данни на СЗО до 2020 г. тя ще представлява второто най-значимо заболяване след исхемичната болест на сърцето. Цел на настоящата работа е да се определи бюджетното въздействие на лекарствените продукти с INN Escitalopram при лечение на депресия. Проведено е търсене на публикации за ефикасността, безопасността и стойностната ефективност на Escitalopram, като са систематизирани резултатите от интернет базите Scopus, PubMed, Google Scholar. Установява се, че основните предимства на Escitalopram са в много добрата поносимост, премахването на състоянието на тревожност и превъзходството спрямо другите инхибитори на обратното поемане на серотонин и норадреналин при лечението на пациенти с голямо депресивно разтройство. Разходите за лечение на депресията с генеричен Escitalopram са сред най-ниските спрямо останалите INN и употребата му ще доведе до спестяване на средства от здравните фондове. ***** Summary. Depression is a chronic condition that requires continuous treatment and posses significant economic impact. According to the WHO in 2020 it will be the second most important disease after coronary heart disease. The aim of the study is to determine the budget impact of medicinal products containing INN escitalopram in the treatment of depression. A systematic literature search and a pharmacoeconomic analysis of escitalopram were performed in Scopus, PubMed, Google Scholar databases. Cost of illness and budget impact analyses were also performed to evaluate the impact of escitalopram on the health care budget for mild and severe depression. Results show that the main advantages of escitalopram are in very good tolerability, the elimination of the anxiety is in superiority compared to other SSRI and SNRI in the treatment of patients with major depressive disorder. The costs of treating depression with generic medicinal products containing escitalopram are among the lowest and that will result in savings to the health funds. | en_US |
