В статията са разгледани произходът и смисълът на понятието „колективен имунитет“, основните етапи, през които е преминала идеята за колективната защитеност от инфекции и съвременното значение на масовата имунопрофилактика. Представени са основните теоретични аргументи, обясняващи концепцията за имунната пренастройка на населението след заболяване или имунизация. Описани са показателни епидемични ситуации, настъпили след пробив на колективния имунитет в някои държави и общности. Анализирани са причините, затрудняващи постигането на надеждно ниво имунизационен обхват на населението. Мотивирани са идеите за оптимизиране на епидемиологичния контрол в област та на имунопрофилактиката. ***** Summary. The origin and meaning of the term “community immunity”, the main stages through which the concept of collective protection from infections passed and contemporary importance of mass immunization are discussed. The basic theoretical arguments explaining the concept of resetting the immune population after disease or immunization are presented. Indicative epidemic situations occurring after breaking the community immunity in some states and communities are described. The reasons hindering the achievement of a reliable level of immunization coverage of the population are analyzed. The ideas to optimize the epidemiological control in the field of immunoprophylaxis are rationalized. | en_US |
